Mastercard teamed up with Disney for the launch of Star Wars Episode VII, The Force Awakens, to give its fans a priceless experience. An integrated digital communications hub was created  prior to the launch of the film, and  was used to reinvent customer engagement by filling the platform with unique, interactive Star Wars content. 
Retail and e-commerce partners could easily integrate their own systems with the Star Wars Social CRM, and a full funnel of brand interactions to guide customers using e-shop points and rewards. Users online and offline Mastercard transactions were tracked and rewarded.  The campaign was united by the hashtag #silamastercard.
